Barry Switnicki, PCC, ECPC
Barry Switnicki is a Coach, a Trainer and Facilitator, a Professional Mentor, and a Mediator, and has been a part of the Erickson College International Faculty as a Trainer and Mentor since 2007. He teaches The Art and Science of Coaching and mentors graduate Erickson coaches as part of their training.
Although he has been coaching professionally since 1996, Barry has been successfully training individuals aged six to sixty-six in a diverse range of subjects. His specialty is working with change and conflict—often in extreme or hostile situations—in small and large groups. His passion is supporting committed people in transforming their lives and steadily raising their performance threshold even when overcoming deeply rooted long-term issues. Barry has coached individuals, families, and groups with corporate, professional, and private challenges.
Barry has been a professional mediator since 1997 and has in excess of 3,000 direct mediation hours. Although he currently only mediates in conjunction with his coaching practice, he has been asked to mediate Ethics Complaints with the International Coach Federation.
Barry is an ICF Professional Certified Coach, an Erickson Certified Professional Coach, and a Neural Linguistic Practitioner. He has a Certificate in Conflict Resolution/Double Specialization, Mediation and Negotiation. He is also a Restorative Justice Facilitator and Trainer, a Children Who Witness Violence Facilitator, a Trainer in Prejudice and Diversity, and a Rainbows Facilitator, Grief, Children.
Barry also has training in a variety of areas including family risk assessments, post-traumatic stress, sexually exploited and traumatized youth and adults, and the effects of trauma and non-attachment on children in families.
